"When the uncapped potential of a student meets the liberating art of a teacher, a miracle unfolds."

Education Commission

Purpose

  • To exercise leadership by encouraging, promoting, advising, and supporting well-rounded academic and religious programs for all members of the St. Robert community
  • To provide written policies that adhere to diocesan policy
  • To ensure high academic standards through partnership with all parish organizations

Organization - The Education Commission is comprised of four sub-committees, they are:

Adult Formation Mission Statement

"We seek to form adults who actively cultivate a lively baptismal and Eucharistic spirituality with a powerful sense of mission and apostolate. Nourished by word, sacrament, and communal life, they will witness and share the Gospel in their homes, neighborhoods, places of work, and centers of culture." In so doing, St. Robert Bellarmine Parish will attempt to "provide a parish climate and an array of activities and resources designed to help adults more fully understand and live their faith."  (Taken from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops document, Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us, A Pastoral Plan for Adult Faith Formation in the United States, page 5.)

Religious Education Mission Statement

Working in partnership with parents and in response to Christ’s directive to “share the good news” the St. Robert Religious Education Program, endeavors to instill in each participant an appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual as created in God’s image, an understanding of Christian values, an introduction to Church doctrine, and an experience of loving acceptance in their Catholic Church family.

Youth Ministry Mission Statement

St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Parish Youth Group empowers young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today. By fostering the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person, we strive to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.

School Subcommittee Mission Statement

St. Robert Catholic School, in partnership with parents and staff, strives for excellence in faith, scholarship, and service. In a safe, warm, family environment, Christian attitudes and values guide each student spiritually, academically, and socially to meet the challenges of the contemporary world.
