St. Robert Bellarmine has approximately 60 readers who serve the people of our parish family through proclamation of the Word of God. As with other liturgical ministries, proclaiming the Word offers lay people a unique opportunity to participate in the sacred liturgy as well as to publicly witness their love for Christ and his Church.

To become a reader at St. Robert, one must demonstrate an ability to proclaim God’s Word with clarity. This ministry requires the demonstration of a gift for proclamation as well as a willingness to prepare ahead each week when scheduled to proclaim at Sunday Mass.
